RIDERS 2000 RIDING CLUB RULES  

Full membership to be paid annually by 31st December to the membership secretary.

Any member who has not paid their subscription will be ineligible for any club activities.

We reserve the right to cancel an individuals membership for misconduct and the Chairpersons decision is final.

Any hazard or potential hazard must be reported to a committee member.

All junior members under the age of eight years to be assessed as competent by Nick Coles.

Only horses and ponies age 4 years and over may participate at club events.

Galloping and cantering around the club fields is strongly prohibited.

Hard hats to be worn at all times and to comply with current regulations BS standard PAS015, EN1384.

It is compulsory that body protectors are worn by all for jumping. All children under the age of 10 years are to wear them when mounted.

Lessons are for the enjoyment and progression of club members. When a lesson is booked a commitment is made by you for payment.

By becoming a member it is automatic that you will help out on at least two occasions each year.

Do not contact a committee member after 9pm at night.

All Club Members should ensure that they are familiar with the rules and constitution - ignorance of them is no excuse.

 

Riding Club Rules and conditions of entry

All Entries will be taken on the day

No refunds to be given

The organisers do not accept any responsibility for any accidents that may occur to riders horses, ponies, spectators helpers or their property whilst at any Riding Club event

Hard hats to be BS standard PAS015, EN1384 must be worn at all times whilst mounted and correct riding attire

No horse or pony under 4 years of age may compete in any event

Respect must be shown at all times to other competitors and spectators. Outside of show ring and practice area walking on horses only permitted.

The organisers reserve the right to cancel amend or alter classes if deemed necessary.

The decision of the judges is final

On receipt of entry fee all the above rules are understood to have been accepted and complied with.

Reminder to Everyone Using  Facilities at Alps Park

1. Respect must be shown at all times when using the

facilities at Alps Park

2. All horse droppings are to be cleared and put on

dung heap

3. All rubbish to be put in bins

4. Any hazard or potential hazard must be reported to

the owners

5. Children must be supervised at all times by an

adult

6. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

7. Park all vehicles with consideration to others.

8. Correct clothing and footwear to worn with

consideration to safety.

The health and safety of yourself and others is paramount at this establishment.
